HOW TO SUBSCRIBE

March 25, 2008

If you don’t want to keep checking back here, but would rather be notified when new entries are posted, you need to follow a couple of simple steps, outlined nicely here. Basically you need to download a news reader and then click on the RSS “Subscribe” icon in the right column of this blog’s page. Then when you consult your reader, you’ll see what’s new from every blog to which you subscribe.

If you’d rather be notified by e-mail when there’s a new post, then here’s that option also:

    John,

It has been over 25 years since we were at Wheaton together. I was very close with your sisters, Cindra and Jayne in the 80’s. I now live in Chicago and run an arts organization I founded in 1999. I am very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.

Look forward to engaging with the blog.

    Dr. John,

    Nice blog. Very helpful.

…05′ Regent grad. I wanted you to know that your classes keep coming up like burps after a good meal. I have reflected on them a number of times with found memories.

Also, of all the classes that I had at Regent your teaching style came to mind as a good approach when I was recently asked to go to Bangalore,India and teach a 2 credit class at Southern Asia Bible College. My wife and I just returned a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for serving the church.

    Peace in Christ,

    Kevin Hall

  3. Great to hear from you again, Kevin–but only if you write such generous compliments as this one! (My speech has often been associated with burping, but never before in such a positive way.)

I was in Bangalore myself in February, and I, too, found that my teaching style came to mind. Whether it was a good approach, however, is a matter of opinion. (I was teaching at Dr. Ken Gnanakan’s ACTS Institute.)

    Onward, brother!

    John,

I have read with great interest your blog entries. In particular I noted with interest that you resided in North Bay. I am wondering if you are in fact John who lived on Anita Ave. Looking forward to reading further.

  5. I am indeed, Johanne, and will reply further by e-mail.
